INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The System as a whole is comprised of four interrelated sections:
Section 1: Performance Integration – an integrated policy and guideline.
Section 2: Quality Manual.
Section 3: Health & Safety Management Manual.
Section 4: Environmental Protection Management Manual.
Each section commonly details the MBmix requirements for:
The individual Policy.
The Management System defining organisational roles and responsibilities.
Key activities which are documented through a paper based written system of:
Performance assessment and improvement requirements.
Management review and internal/external audit.
The individual sections form part of an integrated management system for the Company as a hole and each section is not considered in isolation but as everpresent advice and guidance on how to accomplish the myriad of day-to-day tasks and functions necessary for safe, efficient working and as a means to improve Company performance.
The System is applied from the outset of a customer enquiry, through the quotation and tender stage and then on to the operational batching and delivery stages.
The benefits of the System are:
It provides a structured framework to capture & disseminate tacit knowledge and best practice.
The ability to manage change and maintain control.
Ease of communicating the Company’s policy statements, objectives and processes effectively.
Realises customer, regulatory and internal requirements.
Provides confidence to customers that concrete delivered meets expected quality requirements.
Drives performance and continuous development of the business.
The System is designed to be compliant with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001:1996 Environmental Management Systems and OHSAS 18001:1999 Occupational Health and Safety Management.
